about
The Name Saraswati is directly associated with Music, knowledge, wisdom, learning and is part of the trinity with lakshmi and parvati, each unique yet evoking the same sense of awe and inspiration.Abhijith P S Nair and Sandeep Mohan in this single has brought out their passion with a simply brilliant rendition of a krithi 'Brova barama'.
The music spans several genres and can not be slotted into a simple fusion as the name itself reflects the blend of different cultures 'Saraswati at Montreux' .Journey to the glorious past in touch with today and a silhouette of a future thats yet to be explored and it brings memories of an era when time stood still.

The reasons I love the album are to many to name. It's a drum clinc and the grooves on the post soul R&B jazz tunes are heavy but swing. Oz Noy's songwriting is masterful, but I think we're all getting used to that and his guitar playing keeps getting better and better and more interesting.
What 's not to like? I also use that tune to check my sound system because so perfectly laid out in all registers.
